Pakistan Tunneling and Trenchless Society (PTTS) conducted the lecture at the Mining Department, University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore. The lecture was delivered on Lunar Tunnel Boring Machine (LTBM), exploring the design, challenges, and applications of LTBM for sustainable underground infrastructure.
Prof. Dr. Jamal Rostami, Alacer Gold Chair at the Colorado School of Mines, USA, led the session. With over 27 years of experience in mining, tunneling, and underground construction, he has served as a consultant with leading A&E firms and is currently the Vice President of the International Tunneling and Underground Space Association (ITA).
PTTS’s mission is to provide a platform for students and professionals to gain technical knowledge and collaborate with global leaders in tunnelling and underground space.
